In this election year, the male elitists in the Republican Party and its tea party cohorts are smothering the virtues and sucking dry the very bloodline of "The Feminine Mystique" in this country. Super PACs are funneling money into puppet candidates who believe in returning women to the Middle Ages, the poor to serfdom, minorities to the Jim Crow era and homosexuals back to the closet, plus a death sentence for the sick. Wake up, America. Look into the mirror.
There are secret societies bent on trying to dictate what we women do with our own bodies. They reside in Congress, the legal system and certain political parties. Women see through this male veil of doomed subservience because our own preservation is at stake, and, to paraphrase, we don't see through the glass darkly, but we do see the puppet, his shadow and his strings.
America is clothed in male tyranny targeted to sabotage women. Yes, there is a war on women, because our strength threatens male dominance. Are we going to sit and rock our babies, then crawl up into the attic of chivalry and shrivel up and die? Are we going to accept economic subversion?
We will not revert to the unforgiving past. Our destiny lies in our majestic intelligence, not driven by hormones but steered by strong minds. We women united, bold, life-giving warriors for justice must take our rightful throne. We will not sit down, shut up or step back. We will not succumb to political trickery. This is a new era. We will expose and throw the puppet and the puppeteers out with their bath water.
Like a shooting star, the women of this country will light up the darkness that has for centuries consumed their world. Forever they will reign in eternal light.
