Which restaurants are your favorites in the Knoxville/Knox County/Blount County/Sevier County area?

I am not talking just about game day. I mean any time.

Kind of food.......atmosphere.......music.......whatever.......

I also didn't say bar. RESTAURANT this time.

Ye Olde Steakhouse

I always see that place but I have never stopped. We are usually just passing through. Is it really good?

Used to work at Patrick Sullivan's at Rocky Hill. Had great food. Ye Olde Steakhouse last time I was there had good steaks (huge!) with a rustic atmosphere, if you like that.

Ye Olde Steakhouse is a long-time local favorite -- it just recently reopened in the original location after a 2 year stint at L&N while undergoing fire-damage repairs.

Regas and the Orangery are oldies, but goodies (bring your wallet to the Orange) -- lots of history and personality to both.

If you're looking for something new -- try Conner's or Edison Park in West Knoxville, or Riverside Tavern on Volunteer Landing. Good sushi can be found at Nama downtown or Wasabi out west.

So is Calhoun's not up on the list anymore? Worked there for 3 years while in school and it was the busiest place around.

This isn't a Knoxville area restaraunt but anytime you're heading through the Newport or Cocke County area there is a restaraunt called the Grease Rack....Great place to eat....Best Steak you'll ever eat....Get the Herald, best steak ever

oh and in the Knoxville area...Cozy Mel's is pretty good if you like Mexican food :good:
