My old roommate's cousin that is also a friend of mine was close to those two. She still isn't the same. Very sad.

That was some heavy stuff to watch before going to bed.

How did all of them not get the death penalty?

this is one of the most horrific crimes i have ever heard of. i followed the entire thing from when it happened until the sentencings. i still think about it. i have no connection to the families or events, but i still hurt for the victims and everyone effected. her father should be let loose on the individuals responsible and then justice might be served to the greatest extent that it actually can. nothing will bring those poor kids back and nothing can be done to give proper justice for what they actually had to endure. the whole crime was beyond sickening.

I watch a lot of the I.D. channel but it's still hard for me to swallow that this is one of their shows.

Me being in Florida and this being in my home town, it just hits so close to home. Just hard to believe that their wasn't enough jury members out their with the guts to fry everyone of these worthless idiots....

I have no connection with the victims, but I'm also haunted by the horrific accounts of the crimes. It is incomprehensible that humanity could be so evil.
