Kansas Speaker O

Kansas House Speaker Mike O’Neal is under fire after asking Republican House members to pray for President Barack Obama’s death. O’Neal made the request via an email he forwarded to GOP colleagues in the House. In an email sent in December, O’Neal asked his fellow Republicans to pray Psalm 109, which contains the following lines:

'When he shall be judged, let him be condemned: and let his prayer become sin.
Let his days be few; and let another take his office.
Let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow.
Let his children be continually vagabonds, and beg: let them seek their bread also out of their desolate places.
Let the extortioner catch all that he hath; and let the strangers spoil his labor.
Let there be none to extend mercy unto him: neither let there be any to favor his fatherless children.'
sounds like a classy guy and a true follower

I'm no Obama supporter, but this story kind of reminds me of this one from earlier in the week...

Atlanta Jewish newspaper publisher resigns - San Jose Mercury News

Adler wrote Jan. 13 that Obama's assassination could be one of Israel's options in preventing Iran from getting nuclear weapons. He was roundly condemned by national and local Jewish groups after larger media outlets reported on his column.

We'll see how serious the Republicans are about fixing America's problems. If his intent was for the death of the President, Mr. O'Neal must be out of office ASAP.

What his people said was that he only reference Psalms 109:8 if I am reading other stuff correctly.

8 Let his days be few;
Let another take his office.

I don't know if this is true or not, but if it is, then this is being blown way out of proportion.

obviously all republicans are parlaying for obama's death

Super bowl winner
Over/Under on final score
Over/Under on number of punts in the Super Bowl
Over/Under on number of passing yards for Brady
Over/Under on number of days until Obama's death

Yeah... that is a parlay.

not really. Even if that was his intent you probably shouldn't use a quote that is immediately followed by:

Let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow

either that or he should proofread his emails before sending
