It is an interesting offer, especially since this kid is more of a basketball player than football guy currently. He's tall, athletic, and appears that his frame is starting to fill out. (I think he's put on about 25lbs since football season last fall.) He could be one of those kids that his recruiting blows up his senior year and we're on him early. Not a bad back up plan if other pieces don't work out.
