kudos to Kiffin on offering Bell...

I mentioned this about 3 months ago...maybe longer...about the QB here in Wichita named Blake Bell. GVX just informed us that UT has offered the BB2 (blake bell) a scholly to come to play. This guy is a stud..I watched him and BB1 (bryce brown) go head to head last year. I knew early on this guy wasw an absolute stud muffin. It is a great find by the staff...and I would say if we land BB1 we will land BB2. They are very close and this could be monumentous! Great offer Kiff...you have found the best QB in the 2010 class!!!!

Bell is probably going to Oklahoma from what I've read. He grew up rooting for them, will be starting as a freshmen or redshirt freshman after Bradford leaves, ..etc

Bryce Brown and Blake Bell are really good friends. You better believe TN will not go down without a fight in this one especially since I have a feeling TN will make a nice little jump on his list at about 2pm eastern time Monday afternoon. I think Heaps is still target number 1 since coaches know him better but Bell came in the picture for an offer about the same time TN and Bryce got serious. Interesting battle as we are going all out for one of the 2.

I think we'll have to sign BB first and hopefully we do. Then we could be a player for Bell.

Coach Lane (I'MMMM BAAACK!) Kiffin is getting it done, even while he gives depositions in California. Talk about multi tasking!!

Hopefully the guys who were at the announcement will post over here too but they said Bell was at the announcement and was talking to Brown and spoke with Vol fans who were there.

I think it would be an extreme stretch of the imagination to say they are a package deal, but getting Bryce certainly can't hurt, and probably does help our odds, if nothing for nothing else, giving an official visit, where our shirtless wonders can do their thing.
