I understand that The Lady wildcats are having a decent season but there is no way the argument can be made that Pat summit didn't make a bigger turn around in the LVS performance from last season. Also there a plenty of sec players more deserving than victoria dunlap for player of the year. We'll see who the achievers are tommorow night in the championship game.

Yep, kinda my thoughts, too. Every one of the UK coaches played for or worked for Pat Summitt. They owe her. Tomorrow, she collects.

yep, CPS got robbed of coach of year! Last years team vs. this years team is like night and day! revenge will be CPS and the Lady Vols!

Pat could care less about who is Coach of the Year". The only thing she is focused on now is keeping that number one seed for the tourney. The key to todays game is handling the pressure. If they keep their composure when Kentucky brings pressure and don't turn the ball over, we will win big. Turning us over is Kentucky's only shot at winning. GO LADY VOLS!!!

I think Pat would have gotten it had we not lost to UGA. That loss looks worse every day for us. I have no problem with Victoria Dunlap getting POY.

Are you serious have you seen Kelly Cain play this she means everything to the Lady Vols this year I think you need to reconsider, homer.

Im sure Im a little biased but think about what a complete player Shekina Stricklen is and what she has meant to this team. Better choice than Dunlap.

I agree that Stricklen is a better player and I think that will prove true tonight. But Dunlap had the better numbers. Hard to deny someone who averages nearly 20 ppg.

Yep, I'm sure the POY or Coach of the Year or whatever has more impact on most fans than it ever does on Pat. The success that concerns Pat is the success of her players, both on the court and off. Anything above that just happens. I'm sure they got a good speech about turnovers. They've played some outstanding games with few turnover and have played some very good games with a ridiculous number of turnovers.
