Anyone that visits UT has a decent shot to play for us. I am a firm believer that if we get 12-13 wins, we will have an extraordinary recruiting class, so we need to be patient.

BTW this class isn't going to be nearly as good as last year's because we aren't in on as many big players as we were last year. It will probably be decent, but by no means stellar.

It's not impossible. Who was on our schedule in 98'? Arkansas at home. Bama at home. Well, that's about it. But there are some eerie similarities.

Going out on a limb there aren't you? Any team that gets 12-13 wins is a lock to have played in a high profile bowl game, teams that play in high profile bowl games obviously look better to recruits.

Last year, during this time, we had 8 commits. None of which were highly ranked, except for Darris Sawtelle, who I believe was a Rivals250 members at the time. Right now, we have 7 commits, a Rivals250 member, and a potential 5*(Gerald Williams) on our commit list. We're in good shape. Plus we're still on many solid player's board. Before I make any fair judgements about this recruiting class I'll have to take into consideration how well our season is going, so I'll hold my judgement for later. If we end up having a good season, then the bigger factor we will be regarding high ranked or elite level of talent. Just give it a little time. It's obvious we won't have a class as good as last year's, but if anything that's because of our lack-of scholarships.

LOL like we're going to get 12-13 wins.

UT due to schedule and the relative balance of power has probably the best shot in the East if not the SEC. They have fewer holes to fill than UF or UGA. Those three still have more talent than UK and USC.

They get a very young UF team early then UGA, USC, and Ark at home. They don't play Aub or LSU. UF plays both. Bama on the road is the game that worries me most.

UGA probaly has the next best shot. They play Aub at home but travel to UT.

UGA's lines could kill them. Very, very young on both sides.

As for this class, I don't expect it to be as good as last year's, but that is because there is no Eric Berry or Chris Donald, at least not right now. Last year's class was supposed to be small as well, and we see what happened. I'm looking for 21-24 right now. O, and add Lindsey to our commit list. He brings it to 8.

Depends, my guess is 3. He has been trying to bulk up and transition to LB, plus star rating accuracy is very faulty with JUCOs.
