Eh, as I understand it, reckless driving is only a class 2 misdemeanor in NC, and can sometimes be plea-bargained down to a lesser charge. I'm sure one of our resident legal-eagles can contribute a more qualified opinion, though.

I was cited in NC for 95 in a 55 zone which meant reckless driving, but my presentation of why and my previous driving record got it reduced to speeding at 75.
