He just took out Ron Hornaday in the truck race and ended his championship hopes. No freaking excuse for Kyle dumping Ron at lap 10 and ending his title hopes like that. NASCAR needs to park him Sunday and maybe even tomorrow.

WRONG. They need to bench him for the rest of the season. Also they need a F1 style fine. $100,000 and a kick in the nuts.

Doubtful he gets parked if they didn't park Edwards for dumping Keselowski at Atlanta or Gateway.

this certainly wasn't being encouraged this weekend, especially with all the boxing references Eddie Gossage has made regarding the 14/99 comments. guess he got what he was looking for.

It took a Sunday parking to calm down a young and hotheaded Kevin Harvick a few years ago after a similar incident in the Truck Series. I think something like that would be the only thing that might calm Busch's temper down. If he has to sit in his million dollar motorcoach as someone else drives his car on Sunday, that might just do the trick.

I like it when drivers mix it up. Just think what kyle did was stupid.

yep. this is what you get.

people whine when NASCAR waters down the sport and people whine when NASCAR let's them settle it on the track.

Settle it man to man not with your car. Oh yeah, kyle already got his ass punked by Childless. Didn't want to confront another senior.

here we go again.

so it was OK when Edwards did it to Keselowski twice? Or when Harvick did it to Kyle at Homestead last year?

No I said Edwards should have been parked too.

Harvick is still a hothead.

Very true, but he hasn't pulled a stunt like Busch did tonight since his butt was parked for a race that actually meant something. Busch needs a similar sentence to try to cool him off.

The thing is Kyle was partly responsible for the beginning of the incident where he stayed tightly down on Hornaday when they were passing the slow truck. Ron had no room to maneuver when he got loose, in part due to the 18 truck taking the air off of the 33 truck. Hornaday did not intentionally run Kyle up the turn, in fact got the worse of the deal. There was no justification for doing what Kyle did. At least Edwards and Harvick had some retaliation reasoning behind their transgressions. To take out a title contender this close to the end of the season so flagrantly, endangering Ron and could have involved other trucks, is not defensible. I agree he should be parked for Sunday. If Hornaday had run into him in purpose, I would probably not feel this way.

Well NASCAR agrees, Kyle is parked for the remainder of the Texas weekend. No Nationwide or Sprint Cup for him.

Michael McDowell is driving the Sprint Cup car, no word yet on the Nationwide car, but Denny Hamlin is expected.

Seriously wish someone would beat the **** out of Kyle Busch. He runs his mouth and pulls crap like that because he has a giant piece of machinery to do his bidding. He'd get stomped into the ground if he ever actually had to use his puny little girl arms in a face to face confrontation

Agreed. Busch does what he does because he doesn't have to physically do it himself. Reason being... he couldn't physically do it. He looks like a nerd that was thrown in trash cans throughout high school. He's freaking smaller than Jon Heder(Napoleon Dynamite) for frick sakes

I'm sure we will be hearing about how NASCAR can't have it both ways - have at it but when you do, you are parked. Having said that, I agree with the decision to park him.

Kyle knew what he was doing when he pinned Hornaday down next to the lap truck. He had a better opportunity to back out than Hornaday did.. It would have been cool to maybe bump Hornaday going down the back stretch to show displeasure, but wrecking him was completely idiotic.

And classless.
