Kyle Field to expand to 102,000

Perhaps but lets not overreact to a great season.

I'm not basing it off just this season. I'm looking at other factors:
SEC + access to Texas talent + updated Kyle Field = national prominence. I think the 2012 season just sped up the process by also adding in a Heisman winner. They were bound to make a name for themselves sooner or later.

Being in the SEC is truly the wildcard... as someone who grew up outside of Houston every kid who wanted to play in the SEC always gave LSU a hard look...will be interesting to see how aTm's admission to the SEC changes the pipeline for LSU...may not be too much tho - lots of ball players in that state.

Wow, how times have changed. When I was an undergrad, during the Emory Bellard days, Kyle had two decks and sat 50,000 (damn hard to get a ticket back in those days too!).

It's sad to see that G. Rollie White will be razed in the process though. I guess it's a dump by today's standards, but I saw some great BBall there...and walked the stage during commencement.

You're exactly right. Anyone who thinks that A&M is a "Johnny-Come-Lately" doesn't know much about CFB. Their's is a concerted effort and joining the SEC is a big part of the plan. A&M is here to stay and in a big way.

Exactly! And thank God neither of our teams get them every year!

I'm really glad for A&M. Check out Shaggybevo - A message board based around University of Texas sports and the thread the Longwhorn has about A&M's expansion. They hate our new brethren ..... even make fun of A&M's war dead and all those that were killed at that bonfire a few years ago. TU sees the Aggies as a BIG threat now and despise what they see. Here's hoping A&M takes their state over and grinds the whorns into the ground!

Don't want the snobs from Austin over here ruining a third conference. By the way, check out how vile the whorn fan base is:

100% agree.. they have a very good history as well and they are here to stay. it was a tremendous move for them and they are going to be a force year in and year out for a long time.. i love what they are doing, they really have a great gameday experience. that is one road trip i will be making.

I've been told that the 12 most expensive suites are priced at 15Mil and require a 15 year commitment. As of today, 9 are sold.

That certainly didn't take long.
