Is Carl going to pay him back at Vegas this weekend?

Kyle made sure to make his last pit stop before he caught up with Carl on Sunday, and apologized profusely in front of any microphone they put in front of him post race.

You think Carl gets payback this weekend?

Carl is the worst at paying someone back. Doing it at Busch's hometown won't do him any favors.

I don't get.what hometowns have to do with anything. I think its too overblown at this point, anyhow.

True, but Vegas is one track where Busch is actually pretty popular. Carl would be making a mistake for his own good to do something there.

I'm really just being selfish. I would love to see them hold off a race and have an altercation when I'm at Bristol in a few weeks. I hate both drivers, but I hate Carl more.

+1. Kyle said after the race that he didn't do it on purpose and apologized to Edwards and his team. he had already hit the wall coming off turn 2 twice and had bounced off several cars. I think he refered to his car as a ping pong ball.

It is overblown but we are talking about Edwards here. At Atlanta last year Keselowski barely got him after visibly slipping and hitting Carl. Mr. Ed went to the garage told the announcers he didn't understand. Even after seeing the replay he was so mad at Krashalotski that he put him on his lid with just a few laps to go in the race.

I fully expect iCarly to "pay Kyle back" at Bristol in the Nationwide race. If its in the NW race he's less likely to get his probation so early in the year.

A driver who has at least a bit of concern for the other drivers will back off when his car is not handling right, not try to go balls out into a turn in a pack. But that is typical Kyle, blaming the car for his screw-up.

I don't think Kyle Busch knows what the idea of backing off is.

Not at all. Kinda reminds me of the great Ricky Bobby who said, "I wanna go fast!, and if you ain't first you're last"

Carl Edwards is barking up the wrong tree if he decides to mess with Kyle Busch. Kyle is just dumb enough to give Carl a violent taste of his own medicine.

Like everyone has said, this is overblown. It was a racing accident and nothing more. Busch didn't mean to wreck Edwards, so don't be like the media and make mountains out of molehills.

However, after the incident, I do expect Edwards to race Busch harder than he did at the Phoenix Nationwide race now, maybe even give some payback. And if he decides to payback Busch at Bristol, I would get to see it live and in person, so win-win! :)

Typical Kyle indeed. Whenever he wrecks or doesn't win, he pouts and always blames it on someone or something other than himself. All of those wins in unimportant races in lower series against mostly lesser talent has given him the big head.

I will say though that so far this year he has shown some maturity. I hope that sticks, because I respect his talent as a driver, but hate his attitude.

I agree the incident has been overplayed, and I don't expect Edwards to retaliate at Vegas. If he does, he will wait until Bristol if he is smart (questionable). There he can always claim, "that's Bristol, I was just trying to get by." I think by then, Carl will have gotten past getting even. I would expect him to make Kyle work to pass him if that comes up.

jhen, you say Kyle doesn't have back off in his vocabulary, but just like Tim Richmond, if he ever learns the way to slow down to go faster, he will start being a real contender every week.

I agree 100% RB. He is probably hands down, the most talented driver out there today. It's gonna be scary to watch if his brain ever catches up with his ability.

If Carl was smart, he would let it go. KB has more talent in his little finger than Mr. Ed has in his whole body. He doesnt want to get into a pissin contest with KB.

I beg to differ. I’m an Edwards fan, but I do admit that I think Busch has more pure talent. However, I certainly wouldn’t use the body to pinky ratio. Both men have the same number of Cup wins (19) in roughly the same amount of time. Saying Busch is so much better than Edwards is just wrong, and the stats say so.

By the way, did anyone else watch Kyle's wedding the other night? He's a few coins shorter after, but no doubt he picked up a bunch of mobile mansion fans right there. His girl, she can flat spend some money, now!

She's gotta be one of my wife's long lost relatives. Someone stole my credit cards and when the card company asked if I wanted to cancel to get new cards, I told them no, the thief was spending less than my wife did.

I ain't sayin' she's a gold digger, but she don't mess with....well....I better not say the rest. :)

I said the same thing about Kurt Busch's wife. Lord knows any woman who marries one of the Busch brothers isn't doing it for their looks alone.
