State police in Louisiana have issued an arrest warrant for former LSU receiver Kyren Lacy, who is accused of causing a crash that killed a 78-year-old man last month and then fleeing the scene without rendering aid or calling authorities.

Sports privilege or not, I don't agree with you on the states cracking down. My husband's cousin was killed by a driver going 100 mph and running a red light. His passenger was also killed. Where is he? Out living life. It's going to take stricter penalties for people to finally care about being a good driver.

I am so sorry to hear that. That isn't tragic. It's criminal and disgusting. We can't despise government enough.

I regret posting this now. Hindsight is 20/20, and it turns out that this young man was likely haunted by his actions. This is one tragedy on top of another. God’s peace upon both his family and the family of the man he hit.
