Is Duke the clear cut favorite to win it all with Irving?

So, Seth Davis just said Irving has been cleared to practice and should see some minutes this weekend, likely against us if we beat Michigan.

At the beginning of the season I thought Duke was head and shoulders above everyone with him on the court.

What does everyone think? With Irving in the lineup, does this make Duke to the clear favorite to win the national title?

Depends on which one shows, but he changes the offense dramatically.

Its the same as when maymon joined the vols and threw off the chemistry. Exactly the same.

Except that Duke was winning with Irving previously and is a badass. Mammon had never played for us and doesn't drastically change our offense. Otherwise, the commentator-speak about chemistry is exactly meaningless.

Irving had chemistry with the team before he got hurt, though. Maymon was foreign to the Vols.

I believe it was Van Pelt discussing yesterday that team doctors had cleared him, but his father was asking him not to play.

As Deion Sanders once said..."Must be the money."

How does OSU not factor? They are the mist complete team in it and have a post presence on O.

I have no good explanation why, but I see tOSU choking somewhat early. I even see them struggling in their second round matchup against the 'Nova-GMU winner.

I like Kansas to win it all, but if Irving can contribute 20-25 minutes a game by the last two weeks, I might eat my words.

Also, if Pitt goes down, their bracket could blow up. They're the only truly good team in their draw.

Mich St upset Purdue in the Big Ten Tourney, but that's about all they've done since December. That said, it scares me to bet against Tom Izzo. Especially seeing they got Florida and I just don't think Florida is very good.

I can't fathom it happening, but I'd love to see ODU take down Pitt.

This makes sense. Tennessee added Maymon who can't see the court with a weak frontline. Duke added Irving and put him as the main contributor in the backcourt over a potential National Player of the Year.
