Super athletic with great wiggle on film...

Assuming we are recruiting him as a DB though.

Insane wiggle.
Crazy feet. I'm not sure he's any better than 4.6 but hes an athlete for sure. The dude can sky! He jumped completely over that dude without doing a true hurdle.

Runs the wishbone, and the QB of that type offense can usually play any other skill position.

I like him, but there's so many more important players we're in on.
Louisiana Lafayette is actually a pretty good program now. They lost by 7 to App State in their Conference championship.

Two-way player recruited by UL as a cornerback. Not a real speedster but long-jumped almost 23' last spring.

On the year, Amos has rushed for 1,410 yards and 26 touchdowns on 135 carries, while completing 51 of 88 passes for 887 yards, 11 touchdowns and four interceptions. Last year, Amos was equally as dominant when he led the Panthers to the Division III state finals. As a junior, Amos rushed for 1,454 yards and 26 touchdowns on 136 carries.
Catholic High of New Iberia's Trey Amos named Male Athlete of the Week

I watch a lot of 3* highlights and most of the time you can see why they are 3 stars. Usually lacking something (size, speed, instincts, overall ceiling). Personally I think this kid could be one of those undervalued 3 stars though. Clearly needs to put weight on his frame, which will happen in a legitimate S&C program. Profile says he runs a 10.5 100m.. which is very impressive, even if inflated a bit. Kid has nice wiggle though and clearly has some ups. No idea how good hands are but even if they're lacking you would think this kid could potentially be developed into a very nice db prospect, particularly safety I would think. Intriguing prospect to say the least.

Definitely not 10.5. On the track and field database it says his most recent 100 meter time is 11.49. That was his Outdoor 100 meter in 2019. That's not slow...
And it lines up with what is shown on the field.

Looks like good safety prospect. Maybe even nickel or WR.

I'm confused. VQ says we'll be going after this guy between now and Feb., but he signed with Louisiana? So how does that make sense?

It's not a very fast time, either.

Kid is basically is my back yard. He is a good football player. He’ll probably get first look at QB. Pruitt would have turned him into a DB, of course.
