Oh I agree. We definitely have a better class than I thought we would have due to the circumstances of not winning 10 games since 2007 and getting smacked around by the rivals but the class is really good despite all of that. Not including the Ncaa stuff that still might affect it alittle bit here and there. Next step is to get to 10 wins and continue the momentum even moreso for the 24’ class

I just listened to the 247 podcast for Gibson’s commitment and Callahan said that Texas has to be considered the favorite, that Tennessee would be an upset, but that we are “definitely still in it” in a way that he wouldn’t have expected.

Really? That awesome considering that we already have a guy on the opposite side of the ball (Seldon) that runs a 4.3 in the 40. Tennessee keeps stacking speed. I knew that Mathews was fast, and I guess I should have trusted my eyes with Gibson considering that he has amazing recovery ability and incredible burst out of breaks. These two guys are just the type of corners that we need to turn our secondary around.

That's great info, thanks. I knew that about Mathews, and I knew that Gibson was fast, but didn't know he was that fast! No wonder UGA wanted him so bad.

Gibson also had over a 40 inch vert at that camp. He will be able to go up and defend jump balls against larger receivers.
