Emery is almost certainly LSU bound. Tyrion Davis and Emery are the duo LSU favor. That leaves a great opportunity for someone to snag 4* Noah Cain who was almost a LSU lock.

I don't often have "inside info," but I was told from someone I trust that UT is getting ready/already has started to amp up their recruiting of Emery and plans to be a real player for him.

Do with that what you will. I don't think we end up getting him, but that has me happy we're at least going to try.

I dunno why you are surprised? He is one of the best runningbacks in the nation of course we are going to try for him

There are others making a push, as expected, for the No. 16 overall prospect in the country on 247Sports. Official visits to LSU, Tennessee and USC are coming and maybe even Georgia, Emery, Sr. said,. Emery, Sr. played linebacker for the Volunteers in the 90s.

"For some odd reason, he's all of the sudden, speaking about Tennessee. I know a couple guys at Tennessee. My old teammates been calling me too. Tennessee, USC, Alabama making a big push, but at the end of the day, it's all about how he want to do it and how you want to pursue it.

His father's alma mater, Tennessee, is a school that he wants to take an official visit to in December. He's working to fit an official visit in to catch a game in Knoxville before the season is done.

“That was a school I never went to. I never visited. I want to check out the atmosphere and see what game I’m going to get out," Emery explained. "My dad went there and he loved it, so it’s something I’d like to take my dad back out to. It’s a great time to talk to the coaches personally. I like face-to-face with coaches.”
