Anybody hear anything about this? Saban calling it a minor sprain but I also read he tore his ACL?

I think it's only a sprain and he should be good to go for Michigan. Don't hold me to it though, I'm hearing this from a Bama buddy of mine and he still says he is hearing other rumors. IMO, if it's serious, it would have been leaked and confirmed by now

TW, did Lacy injure his knee? If so, what's the diagnosis?

Mods, before you move elsewhere, TW only visits the recruiting forum so please don't move this to the Around the NCAA forum. TIA

According to reports and Saban's post scrimmage interview he said it was a mild sprain and is expected to practice this week when practices resume on Tuesday. They seem to be very cautious with any injury because depth at certian positions is limited with experience.

Thanks...what's the depth chart after Lacy and Yeldon?

Fowler Hart and drake are the other possibilities right?

If Lacy was out Fowler would play a lot at RB but right now may see more time at HB/FB. TBH Lacy seems to always have some nagging injury. He also sprained his ankle as well.

Yeldon and Hart are very capable but neither have played a game yet, so Fowler would be the guy in the beginning, but with the OL UA has this year I could probably get positive yardage. UT will probably share that same enjoyment with the experience you guys have on the OL as well.

Our line isn't Alabama caliber... but I think Yeldon could have success early. Especially since they would use him and Dee as pass catchers, as well. As long as they can run through gigantic holes and hold onto the football, shouldn't be too much cause for concern.

I hope so but we needed Lacy to have a big year and leave for the NFL so we can make room for other RBs coming in.:)

Maybe he'll flunk out of school, or something.

I'm excited to see what happens with Alabama's offense this season.

McCarron can handle a lot more this season, so you may open it up a bit, especially with freshman WR progress.

We will see on those freshman WRs. Black already out until Nov(probably redshirt) with shoulder surgery and A Cooper hurt his toe the other day in practice and sat out the scrimmage. Again word is minor and nothing to be concerned with.
