With the Economy better, at least on Wall Street. One has to wonder if the Money in this country and their Representatives are holding Main Street hostage. No jobs, no health insurance, all for political control and the right to deny or deliver less of these things only with a different authoritative position of perception. While 10's of millions of Americans suffer through health and money issues..

GOP: If we are not in control you will be denied these things!

GOP .If we are in control. We will allow you to work and have high cost medical coverage that will benefit our businesses and allow the core of our parties members to live a life of luxury.

Sounds like hostage taking 101.

FOXNews.com - Obama Pitches Jobs Program, Points Finger at GOP for Economic Mess

Seems the President feels the need to help Small Businesses. While the GOP wants no part of it.

Quote:

"According to an administration official, Obama is looking to back using between $20 and $40 billion in unused bailout funds for increased small business lending. He plans to call for between $25 and $30 billion for tax credits aimed at encouraging small businesses to hire new workers, the official said."

> How can big business and the GOP defend either position?

I am at the point where I cannot take it any more. These people are without a doubt the most nefarious people who have ever walked on the face of this earth.

apparently that $1 trillion to save jobs was monopoly money or something.

Obama doesn't have the first clue how to help small business, medium business, or any business for that matter. Between his unholy alliance with the SEIU and other labor unions and his Keynesian economic beliefs, his policies will ultimately hurt and even destroy many small businesses.

How can anyone trust his administration with a second stimulus after the sorry excuse of the first stimulus and the fact that they got caught blatantly lying about the jobs that they created or saved.

Will he now promise the American people that the unemployment rate will never go above 15% if he is allowed use these funds?

Why did he not do these things with the original stimulus funds instead of funding the democrats own pet projects?

I take it you buy into this rhetoric?

It sounds to me as if he is trying to deflect blame from his failed attempts thus far to jump start the economy and give himself some cover for the near future as well as apply some leverage to those blocking the increased spending proposed via government controlled health insurance.

The right isn't innocent by any means here but his own party is as much to blame for the predicament we find ourselves in as anybody. Everybody shares blame and playing politics with the uncertain future sure isn't what he promised this nation as a presidential candidate. This is petty and divisive and in no way constructive.

Like it or not there are just about as many who oppose this health insurance plan as agree with it. Do the math, they aren't all "rich" and wealthy. Obama, Reid and Pelosi squashing any real debate has been the real stumbling block to any meaningful reform, the problem is for them anything less than the full blown public option is unthinkable, and all those who oppose it are the enemy, nothing more than racists, bigots and uncaring.

I find it very funny that Obama speaks of the republicans trying to benefit their party members when Obama has blatantly done this very thing himself. He is playing politics with this issue as much as anyone else here and any person with half a brain or any sense of intellectual honesty would tell you the same.

He is stimulating the public sector, not the private. Putting the money in the hands of the public sector (government) is his plan. Its not that he does not want to create jobs, its the type of jobs he wants to create. Its about government being able to regulate/control.
