This team's inability to get a rebound and turning the ball over when they aren't being pressured is this teams biggest problem.

Not to mention Golden is a choke artist, prepare for basketball irrelevance again. Why Bruce, why???

Way too many off reb for Pitt and how did Maymon only get 1 reb? Kenny Hall got 12 but he usually doesnt know what to do with it after...

Outebounded by Oakland; well of course we get beat on the boards by Pitt. It will happen all year and there is no one on this team who will slow it down. Maymon had some good games early but it already appears he is slowly going back to his former playing level and numbers. This team will be sub .500 at year's end and hasn't a sniff at the NCAA or NIT tourneys.

If we don't fix this we are going to get absolutely destroyed by the teams with great size like bama and Florida

They need to start recruiting/signing post players and not filling up the class with wings/guards.

Very disappointed in our rebounding. Too many times, players stood around and didn't go after the ball. Pitt was aggressive on the boards and that is the only reason they won the game. Way too many second shots given up by VOls. Maymon only 1 rebound?? We won't win any games that he does not do a better job on the boards than that.

What is the insinuation here? That with these 16 (not 19) wins we would have a chance in getting in either tourney? Come on! What is the strength of any of those wins? Zero. There are girls teams out there that could do better against those teams you listed that the UT men's team could.

NO WAY. We are looking at about a 10-20 record or so for the year.

Rebounding beat us. Purely a lack of effort and hustle. Tennessee does not look like a well coached team at this point. Can Martin turn them around? The million dollar question.

Brother I feel your pain. After 40 years I have given up my season tickets. Losing Pearl was bad but not hiring a big time replacement was the last straw. I'm not saying Martin will not work out. Im just saying that as usual the administration at UT took the cheap way out. If they care no more than that for the program, I not willing to spend my money on a subpar program. Remember how long we sit and looked at lousy basketball and black curtains. I can watch this team lose on tv. I think I'm also going to develope an appreciation for KY and become a wildcat fan. They care about their program I really enjoyed watching them beat NC. Of course when they play us I probably wont watch the slaughter just too hard to watch.

Need to get some rebounders in here. I think Yemi has a chance to average 10 boards game down the road. Dude is strong and has a great motor, just gets out of position a lot on D.

Kenny is just too soft to get boards and Maymon is undersized and really has to fight so if he lets up any, he isn't getting rebounds.
