The Lady Vols came from behind to beat Vanderbilt 65-57 in Nashville. Shekinna Stricklen led the team in scoring with 15.

Didn't see the first half but these girls better get their stuff together. Do they not play against any pressure during practices???? It seems when teams put pressure on them they just fold; how about practicing how to pass and not making so many turnovers. Their depth is keeping them in games but better teams will bounce them out of the tournament unless they improve significantly. They should be blowing teams out, and sadly they are not. Looks like a lot of talent going to waste to me. Great comeback, but why were they in that position in the first place? What's up with Kelly Cain? She missed numerous shots right in/under the basket. Like Pat has said before, they have that square box on the backboard for a reason. Man, I hope they get their act together.

Well, according to current rankings yes. It's just hard to deal with when you can see they have so much potential and when they work together they can be really good. Of course, being Tennessee, we've been spoiled anyway. Hopefully, it will come together before long. Sure would like to see Pat beat Geno but it looks doubtful at this point. Yes, you also have to give them credit for coming back against Vandy; they could have easily lost that one.

The LV's certainly are missing Angie's outside shooting. Vandy just packed their defence tight inside which caused problems for our bigs. Avant is definitely a point guard and should be starting the rest of the games. Great comeback by the ladies though.

I agree that Lauren Avant should be the starting point guard.

vandy gets all the calls at that gym. I'm so glad we came back. Avant really stepped up and won that game for us. I love the way our freshman have been playing this year.

I agree. I know Pat is trying to teach Simmons and make her a better player but she is a scorer, used to scoring 35 a game. Maybe she shouldn't be trying to run the offense but filling her role in it. Seems to me she just needs to take better shots-shot selection. I'm sure the coach knows way better than me but seems she is having big problems trying to run the offense and with creating turnovers. If these gals can get in sync they can be really special.

yes, I liked the top of the key setup we had for a little bit of Williams, Avant, and Simmons......

Avant is a tenacious PG defender....and she can score, she just hasn't been given enough minutes to shine.

Great win against the dirtiest playing team in the SEC. Their whole team should have fouled out in the first half. I'm getting a little tired of Dee Cantner's prejudice against the Lady Vols. They're lucky a brawl didn't break out on the floor last night. Glory took about all she was going to take.

every rebound Glory gets they are on top of here, she really how choice but to clear the players off her because the refs aren't going to call any thing.

women refs are the worst.
