Lady Vols flirting with Matthew Mitchell?

I know this should probably be in the "Lady Vols" section; but, I was afraid of the lack of views in that section that it wouldn't get me a speedy answer. There has been a sudden rush with UK's Athletic Department to draft a contract extension for Mitchell and to have him sign it. KSR is reporting rumors that the UT's AD has been flirting with Mitchell over the possibility of being the next coach at Tennessee. Anybody heard anything about this?

On another thread (can't remember where) Deer Park said that there was absolutely no way that this would happen and didn't say why, but it seemed like a case of UT having issues with Mitchell. Might have been OCIVol instead, but I think it was Deer Park. I would search, but I'm on my phone.

I've been waiting for him to get busted with a recruiting scandal or something. Just seems fishy that he came to UK with a .500 record and suddenly turned them into a power house and can recruit with the best. He may be legit but I've always had that feeling.
