If I wanted to see Barry Bonds hit #714, 715, 716, I certainly would not have been watching a girls softball game. Thanks again ESPN for showing us how much you really care for UT Sports.

We also were treated to a "Go Blue" from the anchor desk just before the first game started on Sunday. Perhaps Steve Phillips went to UM. I thought the biggest mistake ESPN made was when, after telling us that they would show the game's conclusion in its entirety, they killed all excitement by showing the final score before showing the final inning.

I'm used to MLB, so I can't believe the excessive celebration that occurs after each HR. I guess it's ok, because everybody does it. I suppose that is because of how rare HRs are in softball. It still looks weird though, especially in a blowout. I've never seen anyone retaliate with a beanball yet. :biggrin2:
