I wouldn't want to be the team that has to play Tennessee after that Duke game.

I have revival at church, so it's the good ol' VCR for me.

The only thing that scares me more than going to Hell is finding out there isn't a Heaven or Hell and I wasted all that time sitting in church.

Why would it be a waste of time?

Phil has been giving Pat some coaching tips.

:lolabove: Could it be true?????

I was talking to a guy who has close ties with the Lady Vols team and he said that since DeMoss left UT a few years back that the coaching level has gone down hill a few notches at UT. He said that DeMoss was doing alot of the coaching in practice and she kept the girls motivated. After watching the last two games, I am beginning to wonder if what he said is true. The Lady Vols just didn't appear to want to play. I'm not taking away anything from Kentucky because they hustled all over the court, but our girls appeared like they didn't know what to do and many were falling down, making terrible passes, and played very little defense. Does anyone know what is going on? I hope Pat can get these girls back on track.

For UK Womens' Basketball, it was the first win against the Vols since 1986, and certainly for DeMoss, a signature win. Lexington writers are framing the victory as "historic," and "program-turning." I sure hope so. Our Womens' program has languished for a long time.

The UK Athletics Association has really gone to lengths to develop and improve womens' basketball, pushing strongly for season tix, games in Rupp Arena rather than Memorial Colisseum, and even giving free tickets to football/basketball season ticket holders. To have 14,000 fans in Rupp for a womens' game is quite telling, and frankly, quite exciting to see.

We're very fortunate to have DeMoss as our WBB coach, and her years under Pat have imparted something special to her. Good luck the rest of the way, except when we meet again in Knoxville! :)

Congratulations and thanks, but the two teams only have one regular season game this year.
