Lady Vols outshot SC 43.3 percent to 42.3 percent, but the extra ten shots SC was able to get was the difference in the game. Both teams shot 14 free throws. The 46 to 33 rebounding edge made those extra shots possible and proved the difference in the game.

It wasn't that they weren't boxing out in some cases, the young ladies from SC were more physical and pushed the LV players underneath the basket to get rebound or pulled the rebound down over them because they were taller. This was a great learning game for the team and will better prepare them for the SEC and NCAA tournaments
