The NCAA has announced game times for the Oklahoma City Regional, and No. 2 seed Tennessee has drawn the earlier of two contests Sunday at Chesapeake Energy Arena.

Great, I can't wait to put another "W" in that column. I'm not saying it will be easy but this scrappy little team, if they play heads up & that up tempo game, should pull out a win in OK City. I'm also hoping CHW will have them pumped up & ready to play so they can move on to the next game. GBO & GO Lady Vols.

I would feel good about this game on a neutral court... but playing the lower seed on their home turf? It will be a big accomplishment to pull this off.

Then we just have to play our best game of the year against Baylor and hope Izzy is the X-factor in getting us a win over a top team.

We've got about as much of a chance of beating Baylor as the UT men do of beating the Miami Heat. The only silver lining is that Griner will finally be gone after this year!

That said, the Elite 8 would be an accomplishment for this team, and a great springboard for multiple NC runs over the next few years. The UT sleeping giant is about to wake up!

We should beat Oklahoma. They have just about no quality wins and lost to Vandy by 13. Playing them in Oklahoma doesn't help, but if the game is called halfway fair, it shouldn't matter. As far as beating Baylor if that game happens, we definitely wouldn't be favored, but it's a winnable game if we play near our best and Baylor is a little off.

I hope we win but JMO our team has become soft in the last few games. Creighton was getting all over the boards and getting 2 and 3 shots every time down. I know we got a few offensive rebounds there at the end but considering the Creighton team overall we should have out rebounded them by thirty. Oklahoma rebounds hard and shoots the three pretty good. I'm afraid they will just push us around and get as many shots as they want per possession. I'm hoping Holly can get this team on the boards and make them aggressive again in their play. I don't think the way we played at home the first two games of the tourney will beat Oklahoma. Oklahoma beat Creighton by 20 on Creighton's home floor so were gonna have to dig down deep and quit playing so soft.

We are soft, overall. Spani, Simmons, Massengale--all soft. Williams is fairly tough, and Harrison is not soft but she's thin--not exactly a banger. This is an issue with this team. You need to be a bit hard-nosed on defense and overall to win big games, beat good teams, and this team isn't hard-nosed. The Notre Dame debacle really showed how soft and bad we were defensively. We read now of the improved defense against Creighton--but it was Creighton, a team that doesn't have a bench full of HS All Americans. This team shoots better than most UT teams I've seen in recent years, but that doesn't apply to our games against Baylor: in our last three losses to Baylor, I think we've shot about 25 percent in each game--woeful. We should beat oklahoma, first, and then worry about the cubs from nowhere texas.

Don't see Kim going anywhere but you can never say never. Next season is Makenzie's last at Baylor and Kramer just signed to play baseball at LSU sooo...

Against Creighton we were selling out to stop the three since that is their game. IIRC the stats on our rebounding were better than it looked like they would be from watching the game.

This team doesn't really do anything the easy way so that makes me worry a lot more about the OK game. We can't be looking past them to Baylor.

I'm not suggesting we look past Oklahoma. I'm suggesting they focus solely on Oklahoma and beat them like they can and should do. :)

If we play a great game and baylor plays average then we'll win by 6-10 after free throws at the end. If we play a great game and baylor plays great we'll lose close. If we play average and they play great, just another double digit loss to the man with the biggest schlong in NCAAW history.

Ridiculous. Why would she leave Baylor? She has won two NCs and is favored for her 3rd this year. She is out-recruiting Texas and has job security with a good contract. Where else would she want to go? Not back to La. Tech. or to start over building a program somewhere else.
