The Schedule


Looks like we have Notre Dame at home we need to get them here. We have a few challenges in this non-conference schedule but there is a possibility of being undefeated going into Conference play. Texas and Notre Dame the toughest games.

I think the LadyVols go 25-6 in 2018-2019. I think they go 12-2 outside the SEC and 13-4 in the Conference.

Reading this, I can't wait for the season to start!!! Meme and Cheridene, Kamera, the #1 sophmore class, the freshman and all the other newcomers. So looking forward to watching the Lady Vols!!! Hope everyone is much improved and the offense is jelling. Hope each player is committed to smothering defense. The team will be so much fun to watch if so.

A think that schedule is befitting of the current state of the program--fairly safe and dilute.

Hopefully we'll find two or three players that will be consistent shooters and willing to pass to a player with a better shot. In the past few seasons we spent way to much energy trying to get the ball to stationary Mercedes which accumulated a mass of turnovers hopefully to never be seen again. Also Nared played with all she had but never seen a shot she didn't like seldom passing once she got her hands on the ball. Her 39 percent shooting on 453 field goal attempts was very inefficient especially when you had a player like Davis hitting 48 percent on 325 attempts. We have to get Davis close to 500 shots this season. Green 55 percent on 91 shots has to be more involved in the offense as well. We ended up shooting 45 percent as team which is fine but the defense overall plus .701 from the free throw line and 542 turnovers as a team has to improve for us to be a factor.
