It wasn't really a reference to anybody. It's just seemed like the last few years, the Lady Vols have either been plagued by injury or people leaving because they weren't a star in the system.

Oh, ic... yeah, I knew Parker had been hurt in her first year. I just wanted to make sure she didn't become the first girl in women's basketball history to leave college early. She tore it up with the U.S. team in the offseason... I'm anxious to see her play to her full potential this year. (Playing with the best players in the world has to be a confidence booster!)

At St. Pius, Cain averaged 20.1 points, 13.2 rebounds and six blocks per game last season in leading the school to a second consecutive Class 4A state championship.
