I can honestly say after being at the tournament for the last two days and seeing all the teams play in person, that there is not a team in this league that is close to being as good as the Lady Vols. The only thing that will stop them is themselves. When they decide to play, nobody in this league comes close. I am not impressed with any of the other teams here. The best group on the floor yesterday was Stricklin, Bjourkland, Manning, Johnson and Brewer. Cain didn't have much impact on the game and got to rest a lot. That may help today. Vandy tries to beat you up, so I expect a rough game today. Bass, Williams and Smallbone looked lost although if you clear out the lane, Kamiko will get to the basket. Spani had a decent game. Got to high five the team on the way to practice Thursday. That's when you realize how big this team is.

We went to the Alumni gathering Thursday with Pat and Joan. Pat answered several questions. She said Baugh is looking good, real good. She said new recruit Avant is a true point guard and looks forward to her coming in and that Simmons can really shoot the deep 3. Go Lady Vols!!

Hey, thanks for this. I am envious. And, yeah, they didn't really need Cain yesterday, so good rest for her. A lot of good output yesterday. Vandy is rough, but I think the officiating is a little better in the tourney games. If so, that works to their disadvantage. I'd like to see a good statement win over Vandy today.
