Lady Vols take it to Aggies

i know there is someone who will find something bad to say about the Lady Vols and this game but the question is why?Yes they made a few mistakes but, really. Who expected this? Tonight the ladies played their butts off. Holly, job well done.

This is what it looks like when the perimeter players shoot with confidence and without hesitation. Burdick in particular has had a really nice stretch of solid, solid performances.

They did a better job defensively or Courtney Williams than I was expecting.

I have to give you a thumbs up on your quote. The Aggies were beating up on Izzy but she held her cool. She held her own all though she was taking a beating. Holly really showed some spunk and that was great to see.:birgits_giggle:

There was no technical foul called. The idiot on TV didn't have a clue. There was a foul on the floor, not a technical. Glad to see Holly with a little fire there. She needed to do that in the previous two games.

Wow! Just got back from the game and the Ladys were great. Good defense, offense, effort, coaching...you name it; it was good

And, gule, I yelled for Nia to play for you the first time she went in. I'm sure she heard me and responded accordingly:whistling:had a great game. Good to see her get relevant minutes; we will need her in games.

No one at the game was confused, except apparently the announcer. What I wondered, when we watched the recording, was why he did not correct his error, just say it wasn't a technical etc. Maybe he couldn't swallow his ego and admit he made a mistake, or maybe he wanted to leave the impression Tennessee had a problem...ejections, technicals, etc. to make it more 'interesting'. Whatever, it would have been a very simple correction for the sake of accuracy.
