I thought the exact same thing. :yes:

This Lady Vol team is missing "it"... I don't know what it is exactly, but they don't seem to have it. I guess it's the little things:

Missed free throws, bad passes, bad choices, turnovers, lack of speed, missing shots right under the basket etc etc.

They need to tighten up.

Seems as though Zolman never steps up in the big games when we need her the most. (insert choke smilie here).

That's Zolman shooting a buzzer beater against Stanford last year. That was a huge game and there were too many lead changes and ties to count.

They put the ball in the playmaker's hands, she shoots a three from barely past mid-court, and we win the game.

What happened to that Shanna?

Yep, Zolman is one of my favorite Lady Vols but she is not doing well in big games. I don't know if she has lost some confidence or what.

The other thing that bothers me what the Hornbuckle "T". Not a mistake you would usually see a Tennessee team make.

I agree. Hornbuckle was a bit out of line when she said whatever she said. (I tried so hard to read her lips...but couldn't do it.)

I love enthusiasm in our players. It gets other players pumped up and shows that they're excited and ready to play. But, she should get excited after the game, or at least wait until she turns around to face her teammates.

On another note, that kind of thing goes on all the time during the game. If you sit close enough, you can hear words being thrown back and forth on every possession. It just so happens that this time, Hornbuckle was right next to a ref when she said that. It also happened to be the worse possible time to get a technical.

I think that Hornbuckle dropped the "F" bomb. I didn't see her lips, but I read the refs lips who was explaining it to Summitt.

I'm not all that impressed with her play in the first place. She has her moments, but she can turn that ball over.
