I’m actually re decking my elderly neighbors back deck this week. Only 440 sqft. They’re in their 80s and have nobody. No kids , relatives to speak of. I’ve been talking care of them for a few years now.

Nah, you're doing the right thing by your elder neighbors. I've got a crew supposedly starting on Tuesday to finish what I've started. Hopefully, they show up, unlike the last crew that ghosted me after missing 3 start dates.
