for Louisville Slugger Desert Classic. Most likely they're thinking payback for Stanford from last year. They start this afternoon (2/18/11) ... doubleheader w Cal Poly at 3:45 and Boise St. at 6. Pacific Time.

4-2, bottom of the 4th. Their DP, Cahn, has been up twice & hit two home runs w/ bases empty. First off Ivy Renfroe, second off Ellen Renfroe.

6-2, bottom of fifth. LV's at bat, one out, one on. Kelly Grieve, 3 for 3, home run, triple, single.

Weird bottom of sixth. 7-2, LVs...Grieve was on first...Shipman hit a home run...but Grieve was called out for leaving base early. Shipman on first next time I looked (using gametracker only....don't know how she got there). LV's loaded the bases w/ two out....Burchell (Columbia, Tn) grand slam. 11-2, LVs.
