Warlick acknowledges that well-coached, fundamental, good-passing teams give UT problems! Kind of obvious from watching the team in recent years--but not very comforting! This is why ND and other teams school us: they are fundamental and have talent. We have talent but are not fundamental.

why the Lady Vols cannot be like Notre Dame? Could it be the coaching? Reminds me of the last few years when Holly said they never even practiced on the offensive end as all time was spent on the defensive end in practice. And still the defense was horrible along with the offense when playing the big programs like Notre Dame!!!!!!!!!!!!!:loco:

Come on Holly.....all the other programs find time to practice both ends and seem to play both ends well.
Maybe adding an offensive minded assistant might help rather then having two defensive assistants from Kentucky and Rutgers(and still the defense is horrible).:banghead2:

I agree with you on the defense but I'm sick of hearing about Notre Dame and Stanford. They are great programs with great coaches but they don't win championships. I don't think i would want to be like them.

Well no one can really get by uconn anyway, so I doubt it matters. Notre dame has some moderate success against them, but that's about it. Baylor was able to sneak a couple wins in while griner was there..
