I would like to give a big thanks to all the schools who have recruited me for the last 4 years. And I'm happy to say I made my decision...

If a kid will change his mind that fast because a school said "hey the guys we really wanted said no, so we want you." then we didn't want him anyway.

Right, if a kid sees a door open for an opportunity to play basketball for the Kansas Jayhawks instead of the Tennessee Volunteers and walks through that door, who would want that kid...

Yes we did and do. We wanted him and want him to play here. Unless he commits a felony, I would gladly accept any change of heart this kid had as long as it involved him coming to play for UT.

Lol at the guy acting like we don't want this guy since he decided to go to KU. Any kid that passed up a chance to go to Kansas, Duke, UNC, or Kentucky over Tennessee would need to have his head examined.

I think you all are missing the point of the statement. But sure, post ignorant comments that make no difference in the kids choice.

Maybe I just have pride, but I sure as hell wouldn't want to play for someone who was telling me "we struck out with these other guys, you're our double fall back."

If you all like knowing your the back ups back up in a plan, then go for it. But that's the mindset of a loser.

Going to KU is the mindset of a loser who wants to play for a program with 55 conference championships.

Your hoops program just took a big hit from the NCAA, and the rep that you worked so hard to build the last 5 years is gone. Not trying to be an ass, just playing devils advocate here. No top 100 recruit is going to list UT as a favorite unless it is a local kid with sentimental reasons. In recruiting you take the best you can get, and at this point UT is not in the position to stand shoulder to shoulder with the bluebloods. Swallow the pride, and take the recruit if they come your way.
