You could try disassembling it and clean under there. Other than that, I don't know what to tell you.

I would shoot a little compressed air in the keyboard before taking it apart. Sounds like something slipped in there that is laying under the keys so they aren't making contact.

Good luck.

If they all stopped working at exactly the same time, the keyboard's probably going to have to be replaced.

The ribbon cable that goes from the keyboard to the computer may be damaged or loose.

anybody ever added RAM to their laptop?

How much more difficult is it, then adding it to a desktop computer?

It depends on the laptop. The last laptop I had it was actually easier than a desktop because it had and external ram slot. All I had to do was unscrew the cover, pop in the ram, and screw the cover back on.

Either a loose cable or bad controller on the board- for the keyboard

Ram is easier to install in a laptop than a Desktop if you ask me, usually just pop off the thermal plate and there you go, turn it off of course, but im sure you already knew that

Mine had a slot on the back. You had to remove the keyboard if you wanted to replace the internal ram. :)
