Depends on what kind of shot we need, or can get. If it's a 3 we need, I'm probably going with Vescovi if I can scheme him open. If a 2 will win it, I'm probably going with Chandler taking his man 1v1.Could be that shot to go the the round of 32.
Could be that shot to go to the sweet 16.
I'm going with Kennedy Chandler.
Who are you going with?
Depending on the time left and what you try to do, ZZ is an option. People might groan, but depending on the matchup and the flow of the game Fulky could even be an option. This guy takes you to the next round.
Solid ball game.
Tied with a few seconds left.[/QUOTE
I wish my answer was JJJ but he just will NOT attack basket enough to suit me. So I’m gonna say Santi or Fulky. Both can make tough contested shots, are crafty enough to draw a foul AND then make them.
That’s not more specific. It’s just more dramatic. It’s all about the defense and the looks. You have to draw up a play with options. Assuming he has a look, Santi is the best shooter from 20+ ft. If I had to bet on someone to not choke on a shot in the lane, I’d put ZZ first and Fulky second. I think either hit the shot or draw the foul.Should have been more specific.

100%, that look was perfect. That play was perfect. It was the right pass, and the right shot. It just didn’t fall. If you told me that exact play and situation would happen vs Gonzaga in the E8, I’d feel good about itVescovi is gonna be very hard to get the ball to in these situations because of his inability to create off the dribble. The other team is probably face guarding him the length of the court. Honestly the Texas game was ideal - give it to KC or ZZ, let them try to get to the rim, and if they can’t, dish to a wide open catch and shoot. JJJ has made big shots for us this year and I would trust him in that situation again.
If we have more time and are in the half court, needing only 1 or 2, I think going to Fulky and letting him try to get to the rim or draw a double team is the best option. High chance of a foul, good look inside, or dish out for a wide open 3.
