At the last practice before the last football game of the season, UT used to (and may still do) have a tradition called "the last tackle" where all the players line up in two rows and the seniors run down between the rows and tackle a tackling dummy while the other players and coaches cheer wildly.

I have a question for some of the veteran Vol fans regarding an incident that happened in 1989 or 90 while Majors was coach. Mark Moore was a starting defensive tackle and did something during the last tackle that caused JM to kick him off the team and he missed the Vandy game and finished his career. Does anybody remember the details??

I'm only guessing but I would imagine it had to do with nudity and someone's backside.
