...EVERYONE talked about what a great coaching job UT had done to pull such a good season out of nowhere. So how is it that the very next year after giving the coaches credit for our good season, we think those same coaches couldn't coach their way out of a paper bag?

I'm not saying I don't think there should be a few changes. But lighten up a little! So we had a bad year - it happens to everyone! We played a TOUGH schedule...we've been banged up...nothing went our way this year. In 1998 we got ALL the bounces, this year we got NONE. :banghead:

Next year will be a different year, with new players and coaches for you all to blame, until then...suck it up and cheer for our basketball teams, baseball and softball teams, and any other Volunteer team you want to support, but do just that for once - S-U-P-P-O-R-T.
:peace:
:cheer:

i didn't think last year was all that great. the georgia win was great, but florida and alabama were down. lost to notre dame i would call it average. if we would have pulled the upset against auburn then it would have been great.

I didn't actually say 'great', but most fans would be happy with a 10 win season (especially in the SEC). Our only loses came to an undefeated Auburn team who should've had a shot at the NC, and to ND because they injured our starting QB. Clausen finished the season well for us, but when he had to take over the ND game, he hadn't played since they threw him a few pity snap in the 1st game.

I guess I just prefer listening to Vol fans when we don't expect alot, rather than when we expect the world.
