I was wondering if anyone knew how any of the guys we signed last year were doing. I think I remember getting a good WR too

Walter Fisher-injuries and is trying to get to DT size
Blake Garretson-kicked off
Justin Garrett-didn't qualify
Quintin Hancock-played sparingly, possible best WR going into the spring
Ramone Johnson-Fulmer has had much praise for him and he could start as a RS FR
Daniel Lincoln-see Chad Cunningham
Dustin Lindsey-JUCO
Jacques McLendon-backup OL, look for him to start this year
Darius Myers-needs to lose weight before factoring on OL
Chase Nelson-looks promising, needs to find a position though(DT or DE)
Cody Pope-didn't qualify, 2007 class

It's been one year first of all. Second of all it wasn't very highly touted, so no one was expecting much from it.

We'll know the first time UT lines up to kick a FG.

In reality though, most of those guys were 2* and 3* players that needed development. Johnson, McClendon, and Fisher were really the only players in that class with prospects for having immediate impact.

Getting PT as an OL freshman is pretty good.

Actually the good aspect of that class was it's eventual small size and we got to use those scholarships this year, after a much better season record wise, and that lead to a top 5 recruiting year this year.

HV, going into next years class, is it a need class like UGA did this year. Can we now afford to go after a specific position? What are our weaknesses going to be in 2008?
