Deaths and hospitalizations due to covid? Way downRon De Santis. Trump stooge. Mouth, meet foot...
May, 2020:
“Our data is available, our data is transparent, in fact, Dr. Birx has talked multiple times about how Florida has the absolute best data so any insinuation otherwise is just typical partisan narrative trying to be spun,” DeSantis ranted in the video.
“Part of the reason is that because you got a lot of people in your profession who waxed poetically for weeks and weeks about how Florida was going to be just like New York, wait two weeks and Florida’s going to be next just like Italy, wait two weeks. Well hell, we’re eight weeks away from that and it hasn’t happened,” DeSantis goes on, using a smug voice when recalling the naysayers before triumphantly proclaiming Florida has been spared of the virus’s vicious impact.
DeSantis then goes on to brag about the state’s low death rate compared to the Midwest, the Northeast and across the South, pointing to states like Illinois, Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Georgia — many of which are now facing a similar resurgence.

Not sure who’s comment that is at the top but it’s not mine.
Depends on what authority they have over business. Can they require business to prevent the public from coming in without one? I don’t know. Been awhile since I ran restaurants in TN.
That’s our decree here from the governor wear a mask but law enforcement will not be the ones that will be allowed to enforce it or even ask you about it . Some health official is responsible so that means they can’t force the mask but probably make it hard on the business if they wanted to . It’s not being enforced here by anyone now and even the stores are starting to relax the policy or just ignore you if you aren’t wearing one . You are more likely to hear a Karen tell you to put one on then an official here or business owner here .
I know for a fact the county sheriff will not jump on this for revenue. It's classified as a Class C misdemeanor if violated. Think about the Knox County and Knoxville police how much money they lost in traffic tickets during the lock down. They'll jump on this just for the income. Most businesses are private property and they reserve the right to dismiss you from the premise for not following the rules.
