Given China's history I have to think they don't have any other superpowers interest in their economic growth plan. Only how to suppress others, it's what they do. So believing they have evil intent is not a stretch. I.E building islands they later militarized and trying to claim the shipping lane interests are within their purview. Actions of that country speak loudly.

I did not say that, I believe they already knew what the virus was going to do, and I believe they already had an actual idea of what the death rate and ability of the virus to spread was. I also believe they had an idea of how to manage and deal with the symptoms of the virus but I dont think they had a true vaccine.

I sit in meetings that have discussed hundreds(possibly more) covid patients and it has been way less than 1% issues in my experience.... I have seen lies being manipulated by the media.... I just want the truth.

If the media did not take off and run with this. Things would be almost normal right now and COVID would largely be a non issue. IMO

It is not now or ever going to be like it was in March through May. Viruses follow a predictable pattern. Where does everyone think they come up with models from. Hint: previous viral patterns.
The virus is pretty much done what it's going to do. Looking for a job I've noticed there are travel jobs that no longer offer covid19 pay because in 3 months it's going to be a rarity to see a case. What I'm hearing from my friends in the area is that the hospital population is now all nursing home pts with rare exceptions. That is what I saw myself with my hospital.

Deaths are down and will go down even further now they have discovered what cause of the blood dyscrasia that is leading to these pts clotting so horrendously. They clotted around any line you put in them. They stroked quickly and with permanent damage leading to death. We now know how to better handle it and it'll be a Dr visit with steroids, antivirals and take an aspirin. That's what it will come down to in the future except rare cases.
I think people are commenting on best guesses just like I am. I think this is extremely overplayed right now.

Yep I agree...... I also think these tests are picking up antibodies months later

That is just silly. China's master plan is to suppress economic growth of other nations while their own economic growth is dependent on other countries.

They have been benefiting from the US for a long time. Shipping us junk that doesn't last and subpar quality. Cheap.
Look at our industry, it's basically going away because they can't compete with the products shipped in price wise. Did we not have a shortage of masks because they were made in China? We did.
So we've become dependant with lack of certain industries to back us up. China is profiting from us and we accept their crap products knowing we are getting the worst end of the deal in the long run.
We arrived at that point years ago. Watched the steel industry take a huge hit so we can get some subpar steel from China. It's much more complicated than I am presenting but that should have never happened.

That's capitalism and China has cheap labor. If you really need to blame anyone, blame American industry and consumer buying habits. It's a simple concept, what complicates it is you trying to blame China for the Coronavirus conspiracy to destroy the world economies.

While his state has been recovering after being one of the hardest hit by COVID-19 earlier this year, Murphy said a recent uptick has been the result of residents coming back after visiting places such as Myrtle Beach, S.C. and Florida that have higher case numbers.

FTG. Don't let people from his state travel out of state then. Leave the rest of us alone.

I was exposed last week. Went and got tested yesterday, should find out in a couple of days. I’m pretty sure I should come back positive given the circumstances of the exposure. I will be surprised if I don’t test positive. I feel fine and have no symptoms.

At least where I live in N Alabama Huntsville area it was hard to find a test. First few places I called were out of tests, finally found a walk in clinic where I could get one. None had rapid tests that I called. The nurse that gave me the test said they are seeing a ton of positive cases right now and almost all are asymptomatic or mild symptoms. She hasn’t been a part of a single hospitalization patient yet.

That’s my anecdote FWIW. Asymptomatic is most common and tests are not easy to find.
