Latest Coronavirus - Yikes

From my understanding the rapids are reserved for ERs.

A friend of ours got a rapid one for her and her daughter, but she worked at the clinic. Not ER, but she is a healthcare worker. You are probably right that the common person can’t get them.

My girlfriend is a 3rd year medical student on rotation and her classmate/roommate came out COVID positive and they said she couldn’t return to the rotation until she was tested negative. We looked everywhere including the hospital she was rotating in and no one would give her a rapid.

That's not right. Then again they wouldn't test me because I was a presumed positive from 2 sources.

I get tested every single week and it comes back the next day or two days at the most.

So when a hurricane is 50 miles from shore and headed straight towards you the weatherman should really stick to his knitting and just discuss how nice and sunny today is?

This is rich coming from a person that isn’t aware there’s any positive news , only gloom despair and agony.

This corona hurricane hit landfall months ago. It turned out to be a tropical storm that is dying, if I'm using your analogy.

And when death rates drop, since all reporting is saying the vast majority are younger folks, will you quit your hand wringing?

It's a good analogy. The Weather Channel comically hypes hurricanes. The gifs and memes speak for themselves. People in the path should take precaution. People not at risk go about their lives. The only thing the meteorologist can do is tell you when and where it will hit.

You finally posted something that has a semblance of truth.

As long as they dont shutdown the twittersphere. If that ever happens you havent seen hand wringing yet.

The hope people cling to for their political team is scary.

Holy false equivalency, Batman!

You're saying they have a Covid radar on screen? Or just stupid opinion piece models that have been admitted BS in hindsight?

I diagree, actually. They can have predictive value with rada and hurricanes. The predictive value of Covid models have disproved themselves. It was a huge false equivalency.

It's just EL tripe. There's no value to the content. It merely serves to propel discussion along.

He's a digital vulture hoping for death so he can feast (politically) on the carrion.
