Thank you Clay Travis!
No they would not have a case. Stupid stupid stupid theory. For having studied law, Clay Travis is sure nonchalantly floating his ass out in the legal breeze.
Declaring the pandemic "over" in Florida. Really?
Aside from being utterly wrong, Travis' declaration during a pandemic is begging a lawsuit by a victim or a family of a victim who subsequently becomes ill. Travis' Tweets contain no caveats, disclaimers or any legalese whatsoever affording him or his employers protection. Further, by posting his garbage declarations on Outkick, he's brought his employer into the legal fray.
It is utterly irresponsible of this jackass to be posting this crap. Honestly, I hope someone sues Travis' toady Trump-loving butt for every penny he's got, when their loved one dies or becomes seriously ill because they listened to his flawed, ignorant declarations.

Further he states that it is "officially over", thereby knowingly, falsely anointing himself with some sort of official capacity.
Criminal negligence, Travis.
You do realize your posted study was by UM and the Minn governor just released the treatment...lol.
Take it up with the doctors who disagree with your vaunted assessment.
He never claims to be medical expertGo ahead then, champ.
Ironic isn't it?
And those aren't "my vaunted assessments":
The five prospective randomized controlled trials are below:
New Study: Hydroxychloroquine Works in Monkeys, Not Humans
- Borba, et al. (Brazil) – Hospitalized with severe COVID-19 (this was a double blind trial). 18.9% of the patients in the high dose group developed QTc interval abnormalities compared to 11.1% in the low dosage group. The lethality in the high dose group was more than twice that of the low dose control. The study was discontinued. April 24, 2020. https://jamanetwork.com/journals/jamanetworkopen/fullarticle/2765270
- Boulware, et al. (USA) – Prophylaxis post exposure to SARS-CoV-2 (this trial was double blind). “After high-risk or moderate-risk exposure to Covid-19, hydroxychloroquine did not prevent illness compatible with Covid-19 or confirmed infection when used as postexposure prophylaxis within 4 days after exposure.” New England Journal of Medicine. June 3, 2020. https://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NEJMoa2016638
- Oxford RECOVERY Study: (UK) – Hospitalized Patients. “There was no significant difference in the primary endpoint of 28-day mortality (25.7% hydroxychloroquine vs. 23.5% usual care; hazard ratio 1.11 [95% confidence interval 0.98-1.26]; p=0.10). There was also no evidence of beneficial effects on hospital stay duration or other outcomes.” The Trial was halted because of lack of efficacy. June 5, 2020 https://www.ox.ac.uk/news/2020-06-05-no-clinical-benefit-use-hydroxychloroquine-hospitalised-patients-covid-19
- Skipper, et al. (USA & Canada) – Non-Hospitalized Patients (this trial was double blind). “Hydroxychloroquine did not substantially reduce symptom severity in outpatients with early, mild COVID-19.” Annals of Internal Medicine. July 16, 2020. https://www.acpjournals.org/doi/10.7326/M20-4207
- Cavalcanti, et al. (Brazil) – Hospitalized Patients. “Among patients hospitalized with mild-to-moderate Covid-19, the use of hydroxychloroquine, alone or with azithromycin, did not improve clinical status at 15 days as compared with standard care.” New England Journal of Medicine. July 23, 2020. https://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NEJMoa2019014
Hello, they held Coronavirus parties. Some people in this forum really believe there are people who want the virus
He never claims to be medical expert
Never claims to have medical background
His own bio on twitter doesn’t mention anything about being an expert
He’s just a guy with a theory. No different then anyone else using a platform to share their theories.
And then there about one million more reasons why they would have no case. Stupid stupid stupid theory. “I took advice off some random on twitter and now I want to sue.” Sure you could sue. But you have no case.
What part of it’s not illegal to mislead people on Twitter do you not get? Also mislead would require intent. Good luck proving that. What part of Travis declaring that it's "OFFICIALLY OVER" did you miss?
You do understand the connotation of him saying "officially", yes?
He's misleading people 100%.
Good grief.... why do you want to live in a world where people do not question anything..... why can’t people read a twitter post and decide for themselves if it is relevant or what to take from it.What part of Travis declaring that it's "OFFICIALLY OVER" did you miss?

Didn't even have to change the color from the 2016 election night map (or did Nevada go Blue? I forget).
My grandmother had a car when we moved her in. She liked to have it parked outside her window so she could at least look at it.
She was able to get out through decent security and drive off despite:
1. Security that limited non alarmed egress through two check points. Had open door detectors on patient rooms, and 24/7 patrols of the perimeter. It was scary how much that place was a pretty prison.
2. No keys, she called AAA
3. No battery, AAA
4. No license
5. No money
After that incident my uncle did some more stuff to the car so that it couldnt drive without taking it to the shop.
And she still found a way to get behind the wheel of a car. She found a dealership that gave you a loaner while your car was in the shop.
on another previous excursion she even used one of my young cousins as an excuse. Aunt left the cousin with grandma while the aunt went to bring back food. In the less than an hour my grandma and cousin were across town at grandmas favorite restaurant. She borrowed someone's car to take my cousin "to the hospital".
I think whats being driven home about Clay and Twitter is how his is intentionally trying to mislead people. At least recognize it for what it is.What part of it’s not illegal to mislead people on Twitter do you not get? Also mislead would require intent. Good luck proving that.
If you want to be outraged over this, and people’s actions leading to death, go talk to a certain Governor of New York.
