If I remember right from my quant methods class, the upper acceptable limit in medical interventions is 1%.

I see what the point they are trying to make is. The4y are comparing the 150 people that were vaccinated to the remaining 18k that weren't. I went the extra step further to extrapolate that 18k number to the overall risk of the average American.

I'm still taking my chances without the vax because of the low risk of death.

I like my experts to change their mind a dozen times during a health crisis. It really makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside knowing they are experts at being more confused than me. - Democrats everywhere.

Sorry, I missed your reply . I honestly don’t know if it’s a set amount or how the government or companies would go about setting a pass / fail acceptable ratio . I understand how production facilities do it , but that’s parts and not human health or lives . It’s quite the moral conundrum if we think about what would be the acceptable loss vs possibly saving X amount of lives . For me it’s akin to the “Would you kill a baby Hitler if you could go back in time “ dilemma .
