I just can't imagine the FDA granting EUA in this age group, as there's no justification for qualifying CV19 as an "emergency" for young children. Of course, the same is true for the 12-17 year olds, so who knows?

We have only had one case in my office in the past three months, no current hospitalizations at the local Children's hospital, and still zero area pediatric deaths. Remember, that includes kids with cancer, one kidney, congenital heart disease, immune deficiencies, etc. Not a one.

I think one child has died here and it was a baby already in the hospital for a congential issue. So that's murky at best.

There's one kid in our neighborhood that's had it maybe six months ago, he had a fever for a couple days but was fine afterwards. He and my son play together and when my kid hugs him he starts pulling away and saying Covid 19! Covid 19!. So he seems to be adjusting fine lol.

The traditional flu vaccine is not a mRNA vaccine. They are totally different. However, in the very near future, a mRNA version of the flu vaccine could actually eliminate the flu almost completely, assuming people aren't afraid of it.

@kiddiedoc My wife is due in September, and she gets asked every visit about getting vaccinated. When we ask for more info it seems to be a whole bunch of "we can't tell you or not tell you to get it". I would just like a straight answer from them on their thoughts. It's just crazy to me, I want my child protected, but our doctors don't even seem to agree on what should be done or want to give us information.

It just goes to show how easily the American people will relinquish their rights and freedoms and succumb to whatever the government says.

This past year has shown the blueprint for our government on just how to get the people to do whatever they say. I expect what we saw last year, and to some degree what’s going on now, to be the norm moving forward.
