Truth hurts. Defense should get an A for the crap they have to deal with.

OFFENSE

Remember when the Vols could line up and pound the ball in the running game? Remember when they could finish drives? Heck, remember when they could do anything on offense? There hasn't been a worse Tennessee offense since 1988.
GRADE: D

SPECIAL TEAMS

It was another exhibition in futility in an area of the game that has haunted them. They committed one penalty after another on returns, and then gave up a back-breaking 54-yard punt return for a touchdown in the fourth quarter.
GRADE: F


COACHING

The only thing holding this team together right now is John Chavis' defense. The most frustrating thing for fans is how the staff could allow a team with this much offensive talent to be so inept. Not only are they a bad offensive team, the Vols are an undisciplined team.
