According to a sport radio talk show (a former UT coach), said Randy will not be able to coach if we go to a bowl this year because we are only allowed 9 assistant coaches and by then (December) we should have another one hired. Randy stays on in an admisitrative position until June of 2006, when his first year of a two year contract is up, the second year of his contract he will forgo. Also he said several coaches from 1-4 may go. This isn't a knock on R/S, just information sharing.

Let's go with 6.

Stephens, Washington, Slade, and Adkins. Throw in Caldwell (listed as special teams coach) and for good measure James Mitchell (obviously Jesus hates us). :mf_surrender:

Only Jesus (with the help of Sanders) could have cursed our offense so completely in one off season. Mitchell is listed under Coaches as Team Chaplain.

No commo going on there. :ill_h4h:

Not sure about Caldwell, Our DE play is very accountable.

Compared to the fact that Special Teams means coaching 11 - 18 players, or a handful of DEs, well, me bets we can find someone who can do both.

He couldn't keep Harylson from playing like a thug.

OK, cut him in half, fire the top part. :p

i'm glad somebody else said that, there is NO WAY we need to get rid of caldwell, he wasnt the only one "coaching" special teams, he had some help with that and with the number of talented DE's he's produced, losing him would hurt BAD in my opinion

Ok, I'll give him another year, let's see who's coming up behind Hall/Harylson, let's see if he can turn Walter Fisher or Henderson into a 1/2 round draft choice.

If not, he goes with Phil in 2007.
