Good for him. With two injuries, I'd get paid before I got hurt again. I hope he tears it up in the NFL.

the problem is....who's going to line up to pay him. with the idea of running the ball going out the window in the nfl, why take a chance on a guy with his injury history.

love the kid. wish him nothing but good things. but, i don't draft him until a few rounds have passed by and i have the kind of team where i can take a risk

you take a chance on him cuz he could be great again pretty soon i mean look at AP right now thats my logic anyway

he was easily the best and had the most NFL potential since AP for a little bit there

I can think of about 32 NFL teams who would like to pay him to run the football. The caveat being HOW MUCH they are willing to risk. He will get picked and if he can get (and stay) healthy, he will have some success.

I remember similar concerns about a guy named McGahee...

Very true but if his rehab goes well...it would be hard to imagine a GM not taking a chance on the kid because he's talented and likely will be cheap (compared to what he would have been).

You can't blame him. He's had two season ending injuries and I'm sure he wants to make some money. I wish him well, class act guy!

Good for him. He's given both of his knees to the University of South Carolina. He needs to go get paid, though, I hope he attains his degree in case he sustains another injury in the NFL.

I would go to if I were him. He has already had two bad injuries to why risk another?

Wish him good luck

I really doubt he gets taken before the 3rd or 4th round. The NFL is a passing league now, and running backs have a really short shelf life. With his injuries being as severe as they were - probably not many teams willing to take a chance.

He'll get drafted. I wish him nothing but the best as he is a standout player and person.

There will be some drop off but Mike Davis is going to be a stud at USC jr. I really wish CJG could have flipped him to the Vols but I think Davis official visit here was the weekend before CJG was hired. Dude is going to be a very good back.

It's a great decision for him to leave. I think everyone has seen what he can do. With the injuries, he may regress, if he was to show that then his stock would drop even farther. Sometimes the unknown is best.

He will I agree. His draft status will depend on what team doctors say and most doctors tend to err on the safe side. I dont see him being drafted, but someone will pick him up.. BTW, anyone know if he had that Lords of London type insurance?
