Every article I've seen that mentioned her just said she is out because of "illness."

She has played in several recent games but she missed lots early and I don't think she is in shape yet. She definately could not have kept up tonight. When she has played she looked good.

I'm beginning to wonder if Lauren will provide any meaningful court time this year. With the injuries she has suffered and the other illnesses that have been reported, I expect that they will consider a redshirt if still available to her.....It's a shame as last night's game reflected the weakness in ball handling with this team....JMO

I hope last nights performance eliminated any doubts you had. I was wondering myself what sort of impact she could have and after this game the answer is definitely that she will have a huge impact.

There's no doubt that Avant can play, or Johnson, or Williams. It's just whether Pat will allow them in front of slow a----, Cain, Spani & Bjorklund! That's the true question.

I'm glad Demoss talked Pat into putting Avant in last night. I doubt we win that game without her spark. She was the best guard on the floor last night.

how many teams have we played that have those really quick guard that somehow drive and score. I think we finally have one of those point guards.

Very impressive performance..she is the reason for the win...........now IF she can stay HEALTHY....we have a winner....

down 35 -41 she scored six str8 in two plays.... huge lift in the game... her coming out party... i think we should go to a three guard lineup... kamiko, avant, and simmons

3 guard lineup works in situations, just like Pat switches defenses....she'll do what the situation requires.

I did also like seeing Simmons, Avant, and Williams out there in that setup. Bjourkland would just start as usual in that setup, with all 4 of em trading off for minutes.

Bjourkland may loose a tad bit of minutes (not alot imo) but with the remaining schedule, It'd be nice to give Avant as much practice as we can allow for her, since Bjourkland won't be here next year to lead the offense.
